Ambulance:
For emergency road evacuation to Diani Beach Hospital or to a referral hospital in Mombasa, an ambulance is available in the hospital 24 hours a day.  The ambulance is equipped with life-saving devices like cardiac monitors, suction machines, ventilator, defibrillator and pulse Oximeter.  The ambulance is dispatched to the site of distress with qualified personnel trained in basic and advanced life support.  

Courtesy pick-up and drop-off: 
The hospital can pick-up a patient and drop them off to the respective hotels or cottages at no extra cost.  Arrangements for this can be made with the hospital receptionist through the hotel or cottage reception.  

Maternity and Well-baby clinics: 
Every Wednesday there is an ante-natal clinic for expectant mothers where they are made more familiar with pregnancy and childbirth, assessed for their physical health and necessary laboratory work-ups and vaccines are taken care of.  Well-baby clinics also held on Wednesdays cater to immunization needs of babies and children as per the WHO's Expanded Programme of Immunizations. Close attention is also paid to the child's overall health and nutrition in these clinics.
